AB/Innings limits for baseball prospects - (Picked ONLY during the prospect draft)
Each team will have a limit of 20 prospects.
Fielders - 500 major league AB's Starting Pitchers - 200 IP Relief Pitchers/Closers - 100 IP
These players can be dropped and added as a prospect if they stay under these numbers. Once a prospect reaches their limit you will need to pick them up or lose their rights.
A prospect has to be picked up my mid-night the day of his last eligible game.
*The limit is 200 innings, then you own that player till midnight (central time) of the 150th inning pltched or the player will be eligible to be picked up as a FA the following day.
*The limit is 500 ab's, the day of his 300th ab, the owner has to pick up the player by midnight (central time) of that day or the player will be eligible to be picked up as a FA the following day.
** IT WILL BE UP TO YOU TO CHECK AND KEEP TRACK OF THESE STATS. WE WILL NOT REMIND YOU OF THEM***
Rules on drafting a prospect: Any player that already has MLB experience of any kind cannot be drafted in the prospect draft. This is defined in the draft rules area. If you pick a player that doesn't fit this mold, then you will have to re-pick but the next person in the order DOES NOT have to wait for you to repick.
IF you are unsure of any rule, then ask.
