1. Cross league trading will be allowed.
2. Trading of picks will be limited to the current season or the next season. No picks can be traded that are past this.
* If a manager trades a pick he doesn't have, he forfeits a same round pick in another sport. The receiving manager will receive the pick forfeited to replace the pick used in the trade as a replacement. The pick will be the commissioners choice.
If the manager who traded the pick originally does not have a corresponding round pick, the receiving manager will receive the best pick available which will be chosen by the commissioner. If the trading manager only has a higher pick, then the commissioner will make necessary changes.
So make sure those picks are available before you trade/receive them.
3. Last day to complete trades will be the Sunday before the start of the playoffs.
4. New league managers can trade as soon as they join, however their trades will be strictly regulated for the first month in the league.
5. Major league players may be traded during the season or off-season however they may not be traded during any playoff of that particular sport. You are allowed to trade prospects in the respective sports as long as they are not on the major league rosters during the playoffs.
6. Once a trade is agree upon by both managers, the trade will go through the normal processing. The manager NOT posting the trade must post an acknowledgment of accepting the trade below the posted trade OR IM Sol or Rob IF the situation arises that they can not post it themselves. It will not be vetoed because of a "change of heart or mind" IT IS THE MANAGERS FULL RESPONSIBILITY TO KNOW THE PLYERS STATUS-ie-health.... There will NO campaigning for vetoes because of the same reasons and I want to be immediately notified of this if it happens. This can/will result in the managers removal from the league.
7. Once a trade is posted then please send a IM to everyone letting them no that their is a new trade up. This will make the trades go through alot faster.
8.All trades will be a poll vote and last for a mininum of 2 days unless there are the necessary votes to either pass or veto the trade. After the 2 days if the trade is tied we(Rob/Sol) will have the final vote on it. If you vote "NO" on a trade then give an explanation on why you voted no on it.
9.If you are trading players from the same league please make the trade offer on yahoo. It makes it faster to go through and it makes it easier on us. If the trade is in different leagues then we will take care of it.
10. After a trade is passed you must update your rosters immediately so that their is no confusion on who has who. Failing to update your rosters could/would cause you to lose draft picks or getting kicked out of the league.
